Slab Leaks

The bill jumps, one patch of floor runs warm, and nothing looks wrong.

Water seeping up through a crack in a bare concrete slab floor

A slab leak hides under concrete, so you find it sideways. The water bill climbs with no change in how you're living. One spot on the floor stays warm because a hot line runs beneath it. Sometimes you can hear water moving with every faucet in the house shut off.

Locating it is the hard part. We use listening equipment and pressure testing to pin the spot before anyone cuts, because guessing means opening the floor twice. Once we know where it is, we go through the repair options and what each one costs before work starts.
